JustLise London was established in 2019 by creative director and founder Lise A.Uwamahoro. Our brand is the leading international of handcrafted fine jewellery and diamonds.

Lise innately creative from a young age, Lise had her first creative jewellery made at 17 years of age. As a child, her dream was to collect her own diamonds.
Lise is originally from Rwanda in East Africa. UK is based; grew up in Belgium  and has lived in Miami, Los Angeles. Lise worked in Accounting for years working for various institutions including; Bank of New York Mellon, Rothschild, and NYSE ICE.

 

Traveling and working around the world has fuelled Lise’s creative instincts and Lise ultimately decided to follow her passion for jewellery design by taking a short course in Illustration design and jewellery making at the Central St Martins (University of Arts London) and attending The Gübelin Academy in Switzerland to study in the Colored Gem Professional program.

Lise studied at The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in London where she completed a Diploma as Accredited Jewellery Professional and a Graduate Diamonds and Pearls. Lise is currently completing her Gemologist Degree. 

She has also had an amazing opportunity to do an Internship at BVLGARI in London where she furthered her knowledge and did intensive training regarding BVLGARI's history, High Jewellery and the Finest Watches, including the world’s thinnest watch.

JustLise designs are frequently featured in top publications such as Vanity Fair magazine, entitled A Touch of Sparkle (March, April and May 2020) issue.
